This policy explains what personal data TCG Printz (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects when you visit tcgprintz.com or purchase our products, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (a “hash”) may be shared with the Gravatar service to check whether you’re using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible publicly alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the site, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract location data from images posted on it.

Orders & Payments

When you place an order, we collect the information needed to fulfill it: your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and phone number if provided. Order history (items purchased, amounts, dates) is stored with your account.

Payment is processed by WooCommerce, WooPayments and/or PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card number — payment details are handled directly by these processors under their own privacy policies:

Your name and shipping address are shared with the shipping carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS) used to deliver your order.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience on future comments. These cookies last one year.

If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we also set cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last two days, and screen options cookies last a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login persists for two weeks. Logging out removes your login cookies.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser. It includes no personal data and simply records the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day.

Our store also uses cookies to keep track of your cart contents and checkout session so you don’t lose your selections while shopping.

Analytics & Advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, time on site, general location, device type). Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

We may also use advertising pixels (such as a Meta/Facebook Pixel) to measure ad performance and show you relevant ads on other platforms. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your browser’s ad settings or via https://www.aboutads.info/choices/.

Email Marketing

If you sign up for our newsletter or leave your email at checkout, we may use it to send order updates, promotions, or abandoned-cart reminders through our email platform (e.g., Mailchimp or Klaviyo). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us directly.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited that other website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that content — including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged into that website.

Who We Share Your Data With

  • If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email.
  • Payment processors (WooPayments, Stripe, PayPal) receive the information needed to process your transaction.
  • Shipping carriers receive your name and shipping address to deliver orders.
  • Comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How Long We Retain Your Data

  • Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely, so we can recognize and auto-approve follow-up comments instead of holding them for moderation.
  • Order and transaction records are retained for as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes (typically at least 7 years).
  • If you register an account, your profile information is retained until you request deletion, subject to the legal/administrative retention needs above.

For registered users, you can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except your username). Site administrators can also see and edit that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account, have placed an order, or have left comments on this site, you can request an exported copy of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase personal data we hold about you, except data we’re required to keep for administrative, legal, tax, or security purposes.

Children’s Privacy

TCG Printz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards (such as encrypted checkout via our payment processors) to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Payment and order data is sent to our payment processors and shipping carriers as described above, all of which are based in or process data within the United States.
